Services

We deliver through three connected modules. You can commission any one of them, or combine all three for a comprehensive long-term partnership. Whatever you choose, you get the same foundation of evidence, values and lived experience and a single, accountable team.

Together, our three offers create a pathway from:

Awareness → Implementation → Measurable Impact

Each offer is priced flexibly, by day rate, by programme, by outcome, or as part of a multi-year strategic partnership. We work with annual retainers, multi-year strategic partnerships, commissioned projects, sponsorship and CSR-funded engagements, and smaller one-off engagements. We are deliberately structured to meet you where your budget and your need sit, including SME-friendly options for organisations with constrained resources.

Academy

Learn. Develop. Thrive.

ATR Academy is our training, workforce development and wellbeing arm. It is where we build the capability, culture and confidence your people need to respond effectively to adversity and trauma, in themselves, their colleagues and the people they serve, support or sell to.

Think

Insight. Evidence. Lived experience.

Think ATR is our research, insight and evaluation arm, the function that turns what is happening on the ground into learning that boards, investors, commissioners, funders and leaders can act on. It is also where we lead the practice of co-production and lived experience inclusion, as both a value and a method.

Respond

Consultancy. Expertise. Influence.

ATR Respond is our consultancy, strategic advice and system transformation arm. It supports organisations facing complex challenges, difficult decisions, workforce pressure, organisational change, policy development or system redesign. We bring our leadership team, our networks and our applied expertise directly to your hardest questions, as strategic advisors, interim resource, keynote speakers, expert witnesses or transformation partners. ATR Respond helps organisations move from complexity to clarity, and from intention to action.

What We Are ATR Offers

Bespoke support for organisations, sectors, services and systems

Every organisation is different. Every sector carries different pressures. Every system has its own history, culture, relationships, risks and opportunities.

That is why We Are ATR does not offer a one-size-fits-all package.

We work with partners to understand what is really needed, whether that is training and workforce development, staff wellbeing support, insight and evaluation, lived experience work, organisational review, implementation support, project delivery, strategic consultancy, event design or system transformation.

Our role is to help organisations move from awareness to action, and from good intention to measurable change.

We bring together trauma-informed and trauma-responsive expertise, public health, occupational health, workforce wellbeing, lived experience, evidence, commissioning, implementation and system-change experience to design practical packages of support that fit your context.

You may come to us with a clear brief, or you may simply know that something needs to change. Either is a good starting point.

What we can help with

We design bespoke packages of consultancy, implementation and support around the needs of your organisation, workforce, service, community or system.

This may include:

•    training and workforce development;
•    CPD and accreditation-ready learning pathways;
•    workforce wellbeing and reflective practice;
•    trauma-informed organisational review;
•    culture, leadership and staff engagement;
•    lived experience and co-production;
•    insight, evidence and evaluation;
•    social value and impact reporting;
•    commissioning and pathway design;
•    project delivery and implementation support;
•    coaching and mentoring for leaders, managers and implementation leads;
•    event design, facilitation and learning forums;
•    partnership development and system change;
•    support for complex organisational or sector-specific challenges.

We can work with you through a short focused commission, a longer programme of work, a retained advisory relationship, an annual membership model or a strategic system partnership.

Designed around your context

Trauma-informed and trauma-responsive work looks different in different settings.

For some organisations, the priority is building staff confidence and shared language. For others, it is supporting workforces exposed to distress, conflict, aggression, moral injury or high emotional demand. Some partners need help with commissioning, pathways or organisational culture. Others need evidence, evaluation, lived experience insight or support to bring partners together around a shared challenge.

We take time to understand:

•    what you are trying to change;
•    what pressures your organisation or system is facing;
•    who needs to be involved;
•    what has already been tried;
•    where there is energy, risk or resistance;
•    what support your workforce needs;
•    how lived experience and staff voice should shape the work;
•    what outcomes matter;
•    how impact will be measured and sustained.

From there, we design the right package with you.

Why this matters across sectors

Adversity and trauma do not sit in one service, one workforce or one community. They show up across every sector, often beneath the surface of demand, distress, conflict, disengagement, poor outcomes, workforce pressure and avoidable harm.

•    In health and care, trauma-responsive practice can support better engagement, safer relationships, earlier help and more compassionate care.

•    In education, it can strengthen belonging, attendance, relationships, behaviour, learning and staff wellbeing.

•    In justice, policing, prisons, probation and community safety, it can support safer cultures, recovery, violence prevention, workforce wellbeing and better responses to harm.

•    In housing, homelessness and community settings, it can support trust, safety, engagement, tenancy sustainment, community voice and more joined-up support.

•    In VCSE organisations, it can strengthen frontline practice, reflective spaces, workforce sustainability and the ability to work safely with complexity.

•    In commercial and public-facing sectors, it can help staff respond to vulnerability, distress, conflict, aggression and emotional demand, while strengthening customer experience, workforce wellbeing, productivity and responsible business practice.

•    In systems and partnerships, it can create shared language, stronger collaboration, better use of evidence, more coherent pathways and a shift from crisis response to prevention.

•    The language may differ across sectors, but the underlying need is often the same: safer cultures, stronger relationships, better decisions and practical change that lasts.

How we work with you

We usually begin with a conversation to understand your context, your ambition and the level of support you need.

From there, we can shape a proposal that may include one or more of the following:

Discovery and scoping: We help you clarify the issue, understand the current position and identify the right next steps.
This may include conversations with leaders, staff, partners or people with lived experience; review of existing strategies, data or practice; and a clear summary of priorities and opportunities.

Bespoke programme design: We design packages of support that fit your organisation, sector, workforce or system.
This may include training, consultancy, evaluation, implementation, workforce wellbeing, lived experience work, coaching, event design or project delivery.

Implementation support: We help you move from strategy, ambition or learning into practical delivery.

This may include action planning, implementation roadmaps, governance support, project management, facilitation, coaching, mentoring and progress reviews.

Evidence and impact: We help you understand whether the work is making a difference. This may include outcome frameworks, evaluation, staff and lived experience insight, learning reports, social value, cost-avoidance narratives and practical recommendations.

Ongoing partnership

We can provide continued support through membership, retained advisory relationships, implementation partnerships or system-level strategic support.

Our connected offer

Our work is supported by three connected areas of expertise:

ATR Academy: Workforce development, CPD, accreditation-ready learning, wellbeing support, networks and resources.

Think ATR: Insight, evidence, lived experience, co-production, evaluation, research, social value and learning.

ATR Respond: Consultancy, implementation, organisational review, commissioning, pathway development, coaching, mentoring, project support and system transformation.

These three areas have their own dedicated pages, where you can explore the detail of each offer.

On this page, the important message is simple: we combine these areas around your needs, so that the support you receive is practical, joined-up and relevant to your context.

Membership and connection

Not every partner needs a full consultancy programme straight away.

Some organisations want to stay connected, access learning, join shared spaces and build confidence over time. Others want a structured relationship that gives them access to tools, resources, training discounts, coaching, diagnostics or implementation support.

That is why We Are ATR offers a membership model alongside our bespoke commissioned work.

Membership gives individuals, organisations and systems a way to stay connected to the wider trauma-informed and trauma-responsive movement, while choosing the level of support that is right for them.

Our membership model includes:

ATR Network Member: Free access to the We Are ATR Network, newsletter, selected open webinars, public events and free resources.

ATR Community Member: Enhanced access to member resources, community sessions, member badge, partner directory and discounted training.

ATR Organisational Partner: Support to build trauma-responsive foundations, including onboarding, readiness tools, action planning, coaching or mentoring and implementation templates.

ATR Implementation Partner: Structured support to embed trauma-responsive practice, including diagnostic tools, implementation planning, workforce development support, progress reviews and enhanced consultancy access.

ATR Strategic System Partner: A system-level partnership for places, partnerships, large organisations or multi-agency collaborations seeking long-term trauma-responsive transformation.

Membership can be a first step, a way to maintain momentum, or part of a wider programme of support.

We Are ATR

We Are ATR is a values-led limited company specialising in adversity, trauma and resilience. We help organisations build cultures and systems that do not compound harm and that actively support recovery, wellbeing, performance and equity.
